REVIVING HOPES AND DREAMS

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live” JOHN 5:25

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what The Spirit saith unto the churches…” REVELATION 2:11

 

We are believing God to make His Word good in our lives this year as we look forward to the many benefits He has in stall for us. Among the many things He will be doing is, bringing a revival in every area of our lives. Certain dead situations in your life shall be revived. The life giving Spirit of God shall hover over certain dead situations and at the voice of God give life. Many hopes and dreams shall come to life. Many lost dreams and projects shall be retrieved and revived. Dreams you gave up on a long time ago are coming back to life. God is restoring to you all the years the locust have eaten (JOEL 2:25). He stands crying, if any man thirst,  let him come and drink. To all that are weary with your journey, hearken to the voice of Jesus calling, as many as hear Him shall live. If the dry bones can only hear The Word of The LORD, they shall live, ” Again He said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear The Word of The LORD. Thus saith The Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live,Then He said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith The Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel” EZEKIEL 37:4-5, 11-12. God is giving life, and as many as hear Him shall live.

That same Spirit which raised Jesus Christ from the dead, is ready to quicken your mortal body “But if The Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you” ROMANS 8:11. If only you can hear His voice, if only your ‘dry bones’ could hear what He says! That hour now is, this is the year of God’s favour, it is the year and hour of His visitation. Those who hear His voice shall be revived. Maybe like the woman with the issue of blood, you have spent all your living trying to change your situation, but keep getting worse. Just reach out and touch the life giving hem of His garment, you will be made whole. He who calls the stars by their names (PSALM 147:4), is calling out your name. He who who called Lazarus from the grave is calling out your name. He is calling you out of your grave. He is speaking life into your dead situation, “And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live” EZEKIEL 16:6

As the world lay confused and choked, as the very last breath of human institutions gets spent, the glory of God shall be risen on you, His Spirit will give you life. They will come to the ‘tomb’ and find you risen. You shall be a living among the dead. Those who hear shall live, says God’s Word. As many as can tune in to God’s frequency, those who will be on the same wave length will see a revival. Scripture says that the secret of The LORD is with them that fear Him, to them He will reveal His covenant (PSALM 25:14). The secret to reviving that relationship will be given as you hear. That business strategy will be revealed as you hear His voice. Go back and pick that old diary of yours, look out for the plans you penned down sometime ago. They are are coming to life. This is the hour of God’s visitation. Arise and shine, hear and live. You will never be the same again. In The name that is above all names, Jesus Christ, Son of The Living God. Amen and Amen!

FAILURE JUST WALKED OUT

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” PSALM 1:3

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” JOSHUA 1:8

 

And whatsoever he does shall prosper! Wow, seems like failure became an alien and a thing of the past. God isn’t talking about an isolated or sporadic success. Whatsoever, says God! Everything you set your heart to do shall be successful. Dreams do come true. If you can dream it, God will make it a success. This is no fairy tale my friend, it is coming straight from the mouth of He who created the universe, and sustains it by the power of His Word. You know, it felt like something jumped straight in me as God spoke this to my spirit, I just couldn’t help thinking. You mean everything? I kept asking over and over. Somebody’s just about having that touch of gold. God just drove failure out of that door into the pit of hell. You mean whatsoever?, I kept asking. Each single time I asked, the same answer kept reverberating. Yes whatsoever! I’m like God are you kidding me? Everything you set your heart to do, He said! What have I been doing all this while? what have I been thinking all along? I asked myself. I felt like Jacob coming out of a dream saying, surely The LORD is in this place and I knew it not (GENESIS 28:16). It was like the day dawn , and the day star arose in my heart (2 PETER 1:19). There are certain moments when God’s Word comes alive. There are times when it is not just something written in ink. There are times when The Spirit quickens and brings that Word to life, ” It is The Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” JOHN 6:63. Seems God just gave life to that word,… whatsoever he does shall prosper. I want you to begin to think about the things you dream of but feel it’s impossible. I want you to reflect on all your failures in the past. God just brought His Word to life, Whatsoever, He said! Men may be telling you that this particular venture may not succeed, but God said whatsoever. The things that are impossible with men are possible with God (LUKE 18:27), whatsoever! Ten out of the twelve spies said, we are not able to possess, but Joshua and Caleb who had a different spirit said, we are well able (NUMBERS 13:30)

You remember the parable of the treasure hidden in a field, which a man having found hid, and for joy went and sold all he had and bought that field? (MATTHEW 13:44). God just opened to us the secrets of His treasures, He just made known the mysteries of that hidden wisdom in Christ Jesus. What God is saying is, you can bank your livelihood on His Word and come up trumps. The elders obtained a good report, men who walked with God before us witnessed a good report. I believe you know the story of Joseph in Egypt,” And his master saw that The LORD was with him, and that The LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand” GENESIS 39:3. It didn’t matter where they put him, the guy just couldn’t stop prospering and being successful. Right from Potiphar’s house, even in prison, right to the seat of government , the young man prospered. You know of the story of Job, he was the greatest of all the men in the east. God made everything he did to prosper, even Satan bore witness to that, “thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land” JOB 1:10. Your success becomes just like a tree planted by the rivers of water. You receive constant nourishment from the rivers of life proceeding from the throne of God. Your time here on earth is always a fruitful one, you know not failure. Your leaves never wither, even when dead and gone, you are still relevant to the living, your name is in everlasting remembrance, “Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance” PSALM 112:6. Hear again The Word of The LORD, whatsoever you do shall prosper. Arise O Child of God and begin to prosper!

What then is the key to this success? Delighting greatly in God’s Word, “But his delight is in the law of The LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night, Praise ye The LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth The LORD, that delighteth greatly in His commandments” PSALM 1:2, PSALM 112:1. Whatsoever he does shall prosper! Arise and shine O child of God, shake off your failures and walk into success. Faithful is He that has promised, who also will do. You will never be the same again. HOW LOW CAN IT GET?

“For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water” JEREMIAH 2:13

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” JOHN 15:5

 

If there is one thing that should be made clear without any iota of ambiguity, it is that God always wishes the well-being of His people. I wish above all things that you may prosper, and be in health, even as your soul prospers, He said (3 JOHN 2). Jesus said He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (JOHN 10:10). I think that these two scriptures should settle any argument on God’s position regarding our well-being, for in the mouth of two or three witness shall every word be established. Now, there is this condition of the carnal man or the unregenerate soul that seems to want to have nothing to do with this good thing. The carnal mind scripture says is an enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be (ROMANS 8:7). There is something one brother said onetime during a bible study session worth noting. He said, there is something about the fallen state of man that always makes him want to go opposite to the ways of God. It is way beyond my imagination how a man can choose eternal damnation over eternal life. It is very sad but that explains various dispositions under various influence. Moths by nature are pulled or drawn towards light. Whether the light or flame will burn them doesn’t seem to come to the equation, they are just drawn even if it means taking their life. I do not think that any man in his right mind will forsake a fresh flowing stream to drink from a stagnated stinking water. When you see people do that you know straight away that something is wrong. When a man leaves the comfort of a healthy, habitable human community to dwell in tombs like the man in the country of the Gadarenes, you know something is wrong (MARK 5:3). In the same way when men forsake the Fountain of Living Water, and dig for themselves broken cisterns which can’t even hold water, you know something must be wrong.

Now why would any man in his right mind want to forsake God who is that Fountain of Living Water, and dig for himself broken cisterns (arm of flesh), which can hold no water? In my humble opinion, something must be seriously wrong. Unfortunately, that is the state of most men, children of God and the world alike. If you abide in me, and I in you, you bring forth much fruit; for without me you can do nothing, said Christ Jesus, yet men will have none of that. Seems that God does all He can to draw men to Himself, so they may have a serene and fruitful life, but we choose to exercise our free will otherwise. Jesus wept as He beheld Jerusalem because He desired to gather and brood over them as the hen does its chicks, but they will not allow Him (LUKE 13:34,35). They chose destruction over their safety. Such is the state of a corrupt carnal soul that, it is contrary to the peaceful life issuing from the throne of God. We need spiritual renewal. We need to cast off the cloak of the carnal nature and put on Christ Jesus who through His Spirit gives life. It is a curse to forsake God and make flesh your arm ,”Thus saith The LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from The LORD” JEREMIAH 17:5. Return to God your Father O prodigal son, He will have mercy, He will abundantly pardon. Why fill your belly with the husk of pigs when you can feast on a fatted calf? Return thou to the Fountain of Life and have life, abide thou in Him and have a fruitful life full of possibilities. You will never be the same again. WHEN THE ODDS ARE AGAINST YOU

“Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek The LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him” ISAIAH 51:1-2

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” MATTHEW 6:33

 

Scripture says that we should be ready always to give answer to every one that asks for the reason of the hope we have in us (1 PETER 3:15). Well, to all who ask, God’s faithfulness is the reason. The fact that He never rescinds on any promise, the fact that He always watches over His Word and hastens to perform is the reason. That He looks upon man and behold our frailties knowing we do faint and get weary, that He knows we easily give up and go all length to speak heart to heart with us on a personal level is comforting. To the righteous who seeks after God, panting for breakthrough and just about throwing in the towel He says, hearken to me! It’s almost like God holding your chin tenderly and lovingly as your head is down being weary with your walk. He lifts your head up gently seeing tears running down your cheeks and say, listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek The LORD! It is like as He lifts your head, He says, you want to know why it is never late with me? You want to know why you will make it and prosper against all odds? Look to Abraham! If Abraham made it against all odds, you can make it as well. The bible says that we should be followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises of God (HEBREWS 6:12). In situations like these, God says that there is none better to look up to for inspiration than Abraham. He called him alone and blessed him.

We could go on and on about Abraham and why God sees it fit to have him as a reference to us, but in this case, God speaks of a single person who sought after God and after righteousness,and had all other things added to him. One will someday become a thousand, and a thousand, tens of thousands. When God turns your wilderness into a fruitful filed, that fruit field will eventually become a forest, “Until The Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest” ISAIAH 32:15. Scripture says that against all hope, he believed in hope (ROMANS 4:18). You want to know what that means? It means that no one gave him a dog’s chance of making it. All the odds were stuck against him, but see, you can’t keep a good man down. You strike the righteous down seven times and he keeps coming at you. Against all hope he believed in hope and he was not ashamed, for hope like the scripture says maketh not ashamed (ROMANS 5:5). Here you have God saying, if somebody like Abraham made it, you can make it. When he was alone and heading nowhere, God called him, took away his reproach and made him an ensign to all nations, and to all who hope in Him. God is not through with you yet. Your end shall be greater than your beginning. We are talking about a blessing and an increase. You who seek after God and after righteousness, hope thou in Him. He is not unrighteous to forget you. RIGHTEOUS EFFECTS

“And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day” MATTHEW 11:23

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” MATTHEW 5:13-14

 

John the beloved Apostle through the Holy Ghost made a profound statement. He said, “Behold, what manner of love The Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God” 1 JOHN 3:1. It is a very deep statement. To be the righteousness of God and be made a son of God is something I believe have still not sunk into most of us yet. I believe most of us have not yet come to a full apprehension of what it means. It means so many things but I will like to draw our attention to what this means in relation to our position here on earth. Throughout generations righteous men and women have been the binding element that holds nations together. The preservation and prosperity of nations have been down to the presence of righteous men and their righteousness,”Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” PROVERBS 14:34. The day Jacob walked into the house of Laban marked the beginning of a turnaround in his life. He said unto Jacob, “I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that The LORD hath blessed me for thy sake” GENESIS 30:27. Joseph coming to Egypt as a slave marked the beginning of turnaround in Egypt, beginning at the house of Potiphar his master. Potiphar realized from the day Joseph walked in, that everything he did prospered and therefore made him an overseer over his house, putting all he had into his hand (GENESIS 39:2-4). So long as Joseph the righteous remained in his master’s house, everything Potipher did prospered. The young man was sent to prison on a false witness, and still prospered even in prison, “And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because The LORD was with him, and that which he did, The LORD made it to prosper” GENESIS 39:22-23. He was the reason through his God given wisdom, that Egypt and its surrounding areas were preserved throughout the famine, “Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life” GENESIS 45:5

Jesus said that we are the salt of the earth. Just as salt is used as a preservative for certain commodities, so are the righteous used by God to preserve the earth. Jerusalem went into captivity, it was destroyed because God could not find one single person who would act as a hedge, and stand in the gap before God for the land, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none” EZEKIEL 22:30. He said to Jeremiah the Prophet, “Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it” JEREMIAH 5:1. You can see how God was willing to preserve a nation for the sake of one righteous man. In the case of Sodom and Gomorrah, the cities would have have remained had God found ten righteous people, “And he said, Oh let not The Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake” GENESIS 18:32. Jesus at a point in His ministry began to upbraid certain cities where most of His mighty works were done. One of these cities was Capernaum which was His headquarters. It had been exalted and prospered by the presence and ministry of Jesus. So long as righteousness reigned in Capernaum, it was exalted and prospered but it was to be brought down because of unrighteousness. So long as The Righteous King reigned there, He preserved and prospered it. It was however to be brought down and destroyed after Jesus’ departure because they yielded no fruit of righteousness. To have been compared with Sodom, and Jesus even guaranteeing the existence of Sodom till this day had it experience what Carpenaum did says a lot about how depraved it was. Like salts we preserve our world. If we lose our savour however, we become good for nothing and are cast out and trampled upon. We are the light of the world, and that city set on a hill. We can never be hidden nor brought down so long as we maintain our righteousness. We shall be a delight to our world, they shall be drawn to the brightness of our glory so long as our righteousness spring forth as the day light. Righteousness will always exalt a nation. To have been bestowed with this great favour from God is beyond human understanding. That The Most High God will confer this on us is beyond my understanding. May God change and preserve lives through us. May we bind up broken homes, and be that light for many generations to come. May God prosper your world because of you. You will never be the same again. BLESSING IN UNITY

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore” PSALM 133

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” MATTHEW 18:19-20

 

There is power in unity. Division creates confusion. There is something special about people coming together and agreeing for a course. Unity is strength whiles division creates weakness. Unity again enhances survival, it is protection. Animals have developed an adaptation to survive by sticking together and walking in pacts. The weakest of preys have been able to overcome their fiercest predators by grazing together. Unity breeds confidence and creates a sense of security. Certain nations of the world, tribe, and tongue have endured and survived moments of adversity by staying together as one people, as the popular saying goes, “united we stand, divided we fall”. Scripture puts it right, a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Again if two walk together (in unity), they have a reward for their work, for if one falls, one will lift his fellow. Woe to you, it continues, if you walk alone, if you fall who lifts you up? (ECCLESIASTES 4:9-12). Divide and rule has long been a tactic used destroy, dominate, and rule a people. Certain powers of the world without a doubt have before and still do adopt this method to rule certain nations. They have long known that it is impossible to have your own way among people who are united until you pitch one group against the other. Political instability in certain nations of the world like we all know are as a result of one group of people of the same nation fighting another. Sometimes certain powers support even an illegitimate political group under the pretext of supporting good governance. See, the enemy will do anything to bring you down, and will do anything to separate and divide, to achieve his end which is destruction. Wherefore God in His Word admonishes us to stick together in unity. It is like a precious ointment He said! You cannot put a price on unity, it is the greatest defence against any onslaught of the adversary. Watching the movie 300 taught me a lot about the strength in unity. The secret to the Spartan Military strength was fighting together as a unit. Legend has it that a mere 300 Spartans were able to resist the advancement of Xerxes’ army who were so many that ‘their arrows blocked the sun’ in the Battle of Thermopylae. Truth or fiction, the great Leonidas, King of the Spartans led a brave few Greeks who fought together as a unit against an overwhelming Persian Army. Scripture again says that brethren dwelling together in unity is like the dew of Hermon, and as the dew which descended upon the mountains of Zion. Dews are known to have great influence on the nature of the soil and vegetation. it increases fertility and its gentleness flourishes the green vegetation. Brethren dwelling together in unity and exhibiting tender love one towards another fosters prosperity and peace. Enmity and division, hatred and war, is like a pest and the scorching sun in an arid habitat.

On the day of Pentecost, scripture says that they were all together with one accord in the upper room, and then The Holy Ghost descended. God is not the author of confusion, neither will He dwell in confusion. Where two or three are gathered together in His Name, there His is in their midst. He will never dwell nor inhabit in confusion. He commands His blessings where there is unity. Marriages are blessed when there is unity between the spouse, peace reign where there is agreement. War and confusion in a home or any environment is like sowing seeds among thorns. As they sprout forth, they are choked by the thorns and die. If two agree together on earth concerning anything, the bible says it is done of The Father in heaven. It is time for growth and prosperity, it is time for peace and blessings. It is time for survival and strength. Unity is the key. Days of brothers standing against one another, spouses disagreeing in fighting is over. God points to us in His Word that He commands His blessings on a united front. May we seek the preciousness of dwelling together in unity and thereby reap the benefits of its blessings. OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S REVEALED PATTERN

“And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount” EXODUS 25:40

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” MATTHEW 6:10

 

God is a God of perfection, He’s always into details and specifics. He always sees and speaks the end from the beginning. Nothing in this life ever catches Him by surprise, He has them all worked out and well planned. What He says and do, and requires of men is for our good, to give us an expected end. He is like an artist who sees what the ordinary person can’t see. The ordinary man may not see what He sees and imagines, to the ordinary man it may all be a plane canvas. God always has the details and specifics, He puts them together to form a beautiful image. He requires His people upon instructions and directions given us, to execute nothing more or less. There are reasons even though may be unknown to us why God demands things to be done like He requires, nothing more, nothing less. He requires things on earth concerning His children to be fashioned according to the pattern in heaven. Real satisfaction and efficiency is guaranteed when things are done according to the purpose by which it is made for and required to be done. Just want to throw you a picture to give a better picture of what I am trying to say. You go to a shop to buy something, let’s say a furniture which is just in parts and boxed for convenience and easy transport. Inside the box is a manual on how the furniture is to be arranged, put together or built. To get real satisfaction from the product, you have to arrange and build it just like it says in the manual and according to the directions given. A dove tail is put in a dove tail joint etc. Any arrangement other than the manufacturers instructions in the manual will create confusion. God only blesses and prosper obedience to His institution, nothing else will suffice. His will is perfected and it is settled in heaven “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” PSALM 119:89. Humans despite all the advancement in knowledge knows not what is best for us. We are like blind men that needs to be led, like children that needs guidance and direction. See, your baby at home knows not what is best for him/her even though might think so. The wisdom and prudence of a parent is to guide his child the way he should go. God in His infinite wisdom will guide His children home. Even in prayers sometimes we know not what to pray for but His Spirit helps and lead us ” Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” ROMANS 8:26. Obedience to God’s revealed pattern will always yield results and blessing.

Jesus when teaching His disciples how to pray, revealed the importance of following exactly the patterns of things in heaven. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven He said. How important it is for His will and ordained patterns in heaven to be established on earth? It is important because we can only flourish and prosper, we can only thrive in that which He institutes. Scripture says, if we are willing and obedient, we shall eat the good of the land (ISAIAH 1:19). In a war torn zone plagued by land mines, specialist mine detectives are required to lead the way. You follow exactly their instructions for your own safety, choosing any other way could be fatal. God leads us in a world plagued by satanic mines, our only sure hope of survival is obedience to His leading. God is right into specifics and details. In the building of the Tabernacle of Witness in the wilderness, He told Moses to build after the pattern shown him in the mount. It is not without any reason He required those specifics. In the building of the ark by Noah, God again instructed him to build with certain specifics and details ” And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits” GENESIS 6:15. Your life is a project in progress and must be fashioned with every detail according to the plan of The Great Architect. You will find rest for your soul, and your life will never be the same again. CHRIST IS ALL IN ALL

“And of His Fullness have all we received, and grace for grace” JOHN 1:16

“And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all” EPHESIANS 1:22-23

 

Kindly repeat this after me, of His fullness have I received! I urge you to receive this into your spirit and think it through, take heed as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arises in your heart. See, The Word of God will be of no use to you till it finds a resting place in your heart, in your spirit, and upon constant and effective brooding over, hatches the desired result. Of the fullness of Christ Jesus, The Word of God who was from the beginning have we all received. God isn’t called The Many Breasted God, El-Shaddai for no reason. He is The Almighty God who fills all in all, and is able to do all things. Whatever you need, He is! He is the answer to all your needs and does not refer you to any specialist. He is the Specialist. Scripture says that it pleased God The Father that in Christ Jesus should all fullness dwell (COLOSSIANS 1:19). You can only be made complete in Him, nothing else satisfies. You can search throughout eternity and and none can compare. You are complete in Him, says His Word (COLOSSIANS 2:10). No success or achievement in life is ever complete without Christ. People can have everything they want materially and still have faintness or leanness in their souls, ” And He gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul” PSALM 106:15. I wish and desire in The Name of The Lord Jesus that in all you do, and all you have, your soul prospers as well, that you may lack nothing. Whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, He said (JOHN 14:13). Now, who on earth can be so confident to make such a bold claim? These are no vain or empty promises or claims. They are not one of those vain promises a man makes a woman when infatuated, like “I will cross the ocean for you”, and all the crazy stuff. Will God ever lie to you? He is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent of what He says (NUMBERS 23:19). Whatsoever means whatsoever, an all inclusive claim. Christ Jesus is that versatile and handyman who does everything. Just sit down quietly and begin to examine your self, have a deeper search of your soul, and ask what your desires are. It could be anything, and He is ever ready to make it happen. Whatever is lacking in your life that makes you lean and incomplete, just ask Him. It could be anything baby, anything! Just go ahead and make your requests known unto Him, and His peace which surpasses all understanding shall keep your heart and mind through. You are going to live life to the fullness, you are going to have that family you always desired. He will heal that disease and make you whole. Satisfaction in Christ Jesus is guaranteed, and of His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

We can only be that fruitful bough by the wall, whose branches run over the wall when we are plugged or connected to The Fruitful Vine who is Christ Jesus. He gives life in abundance. He is that Living Fountain which never dries. We will drink from that Rock and quench our thirsty souls forever. Just run to the rock and receive that fullness and satisfaction. I dare you to bare your famished soul to Him today. Streams of living water will flow from His fountain and quench your thirsty soul. He fills all in all, and you are complete in Him who is the head of all principality, and all power. In The Name that is above all names, Jesus Christ, Son of The Living God. Amen and Amen!

GOD’S VISITATION

“…And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land…” EXODUS 3:8

“…whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace” LUKE 1:78-79

 

God on a mission means business. The visitation of God changes the position of a man or a people for good. God doesn’t just turn up for no reason, He always comes for a purpose, and always accomplishes the purpose by which He came for “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” ISAIAH 55:10-11. You wait on God for so long, and then one day He turns up. What a moment that will be! Like I said before, it is for a particular reason. He either visits the iniquity of people upon them and execute judgement, or return and leave behind a blessing (JOEL 2:14). Whatever the reason is, it will be accomplished, but for your sake, i pray that it may be for a blessing, and that the blessing may be accomplished.

Samuel the Prophet was sent on a mission by God to Bethlehem to a man named Jesse, to anoint one of his sons as the next king of Israel because He had rejected Saul. The elders of Bethlehem upon seeing Samuel trembled and asked him, comest thou in peace? (1 SAMUEL 16:4). Samuel being God’s Prophet was His spokesperson, and also had a delegated authority from The Most High to act on His behalf. The elders therefore seeing Samuel present was like having a visitation from God and they trembled. They knew it was either for blessing or something else and had no doubt that whatever the purpose of the visitation, it will be accomplished. To their relief, the visitation was that of peace, and God left behind a blessing in the form of one of their own, a young man called David, being sanctified and anointed as king of Israel. The visitation of God’s blessing upon men is described by Zechariah as the dayspring or as other versions put it, the sunrise. The sun rises daily from the east and sets at the west not without a reason. The energy of the sun is a blessing to our solar system, it gives life to our solar system. The sun is important to us the same way breath is vital for survival. God visiting His people in the land of Egypt was a breath of fresh air. Their yokes were broken, and years of arduous servitude was ended. Whatever your situation is, I urge you to hold on and pray to God without giving up because you are on His radar. His mission to you lingers not, and when He comes down, He shall accomplish and leave behind a blessing.

I pray that The Most High God answers you in time of your need, that He visits you and give you peace. It is my prayer that the dayspring from on high visits you and guide your feet in the way of peace. When He begins, may He make a full end. In The Name that is above all names, Jesus Christ, Son of The Living God. Amen and Amen!

PEACE UPON YOUR HOUSEHOLD

“And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the Son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house” LUKE 10:5-7

And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there. And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him. And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old. And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door. And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life” 2KINGS 4:8-17

 

Without all controversy, Jesus is The Prince of peace. In a world where there is so much chaos and wars, with the rumours that comes with it makes the heart of men fail with fear, people become worn out with the continual chaos and terror. There is so much chaos that certain personal liberties of people around the world have been taken away as governments of the world try as they say to combat terror. You cannot go through security check points at various airports without being stripped and searched, the scanners reveal your nakedness and even some of the women and some men have complained of being touched in ways that are inappropriate; all in the name of fighting terror and bringing peace to the earth. The United Nations are working tireless around the clock, at least that’s what they say and make us believe, with various policies which sometimes even overrides the sovereignty of independent nations; they send what they call peace keeping forces to various countries like they claim to enforce and bring peace. What do we see after all these, peace? No, sometimes the situation even turns worse. People are looking and searching for anything but Christ Jesus who is The Prince of Peace. The world minus Him is equal to complete chaos and utter perplexity. He gives peace unprecedented, peace different from what the world and the United Nations give. “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” JOHN 14:27.

Jesus upon sending out his disciples to preach gave them specific instructions as to what to do and the first of those which was the most important was to inquire in the same city who was worthy and then dwell with according to the same account by Matthew (MATTHEW 10:11-13). They were to dwell in houses that were worthy and pronounce their peace upon that house, which Peace was and still is Christ Jesus. Jesus said according to the same account by Matthew, if that house be worthy, let your peace come upon it and remain, if not, it shall return to you. The peace of God and of his Christ can be seen here to rest on only the worthy of homes. What then is a worthy home? A worthy home is that which accept Jesus Christ and build Him a habitation.  A worthy home is that which build Him a sanctuary and say to Him, “Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness” 2 CHRONICLES 6:41. This is a worthy house and that which deserves the peace of Christ.

The Shunammite woman in the days of Elisha the Prophet was a shrewd one. It therefore surprises me not that she together with her husband were prosperous. She always did the right things and seemed to be intelligent spiritually and more inclined to receive from God even more than the Jews in the days of Elisha even though she was an alien to the covenants of promise being a Gentile. She convinced her husband to build a guest room for Elisha so he can come and rest anytime he passed by. Matter of fact scripture says she constrained him to come and eat and rest. She constrained him, she forced him. See this woman knew how to tap into the blessings of God by constraining Elisha, representation of God and His Christ, a messenger of Christ to dwell with them. She knew this secret way before the Apostles were sent and given the same instructions. The peace of God rested in their household and she that was barren became fruitful, the wilderness became a fruitful land, “Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest” ISAIAH 32:15. God blessed the house of Obededom when he took the Ark of God into his house when no one wanted it, not even David. The Ark stayed with him for three months and he and his household were prosperous by reason of The Ark of God and when David realised that, he sent for The Ark.” So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all  his household. And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness” 2 SAMUEL 6:10-12.

Prosperity in any sense of the word is attained when there is peace and peace which is of God and His Son The Prince of Peace dwells in a worthy house which receives Him and build Him a sanctuary and a resting place. Will you make your house, your body which is His temple a worthy house where He can dwell, a house on which His peace could be pronounced and remain? If so then your life will never be the same again. Amen and Amen!
